大概8年前网上认识的一个美国客观主义者免费给我寄了一英文书（ 《the virture of selfishness》)译为中文《自私的美德》，后来国内听说有中文译本，不过我终于不能接受客观主义观点（在我观察和思考过程中，我发现美国的核心精神就是客观主义，客观主义是资本主义精神的很重要的内容核心之一，虽然她上升为了哲学，但是我依然认为她是肤浅的，或者庸俗的），这本书还躺在我的书房里，不过书中的下面这段我倒认可：Of the various pleasure that man can offer himself, the greatest is pride - the pleasure he takes in his own achievements and in the creation of his own character. The pleasure he takes in the character and achievements of another being is that of admiration. The highest expression of these two responses - pride and admiration - is romantic love. Its celebration is sex.

还有一个地方一个人可以获得幸福或者快乐的地方就是另一个人的成就和他（她）的内在和外在的素质那里得到（就是敬慕）.
这两者结合起来带来的幸福或者快乐是最高的幸福和快乐（就是爱情），性是其庆贺。
